On the 8th of September, Shincheonji Volunteer Gunsan branch and Jeonbuk Red Cross Blood Center co-signed a blood donation agreement, promising continuous cooperation.
Moreover, the Blood Center presented a plaque of appreciation to Shincheonji Volunteer, which is leading a campaign to share love and life through blood-giving.
Earlier that day - in an attempt to combat shortages in blood supply that resulted from the heat wave and hot climate - Shincheonji Volunteer rolled up their sleeves and set up a mobile blood bank in front of Gunsan Peace Church of Shincheonji Church.
50 members from Shincheonji Volunteer participated in giving blood to help save precious lives for this blood-giving event.
Ms. Seoksoon Yoo, who is making her 2nd blood donation this year, said "I'm very grateful that, as a healthy person, I can donate blood, and it is worthwhile that my donation can save three souls. I want to help once again."
An employee of Jeonbuk Red Cross Blood Center said "We are grateful for the steady blood donations made by Shincheonji Volunteer Gunsan - which is already contributing much to the betterment of society - for their contribution in providing regular blood donations and for their participation in the national blood donation campaign.“
