GooMi branch holds the 'Dream Project' commemorating Independence Day

Shincheonji volunteer group Goomi branch clarified that they held the 'Loving Country Peace Restoration of Light 73rd Independence Day Commemorative Exercise' and had invited 20 local organization which formed a 'MOU' and the Goomi Veterans Association Members.
This event was held at the banquet hall on the second floor of Goomi Keumhosan hotel, at 11:30 A.M. on the 15th of the month. This event was organized to commemorate the spirit of our ancestors who have taken back our sovereign power that had been lost under Japanese occupation, and to make liberty and peace come true for inheritance.
About 300 people from volunteer groups, associations, and organizations of public opinion which also had friendly relations with Goomi Shincheonji volunteer group, had a luncheon in a warm atmosphere giving a big round of applause for the senior visitors from the veteran association. Before the ceremony, the dance and traditional music performed by Herb volunteer group amused senior attendants.
Following after, the national ceremony and presentation of the plaque of thanks were proceeded and Goomi Shincheonji volunteer group received the plaque of thanks from the 6.25 war veterans associations.
This plaque was presented to the Shincheonji president (who was also one of 6.25 war vete-rans) for inspiring the spirit of patriotism and volunteering to Goomi Shincheonji volunteer group members.
Lee Myeong Soon, the leader of Goomi Shincheonji church group asked what the descendants should do on Independence Day during her commemoration speech and Lee responded with, "Let's make it clear to put the action for peace into practice and keep the life of our young generation from war."
Also, Park BongSoon, the representative of Wolgok Gallery who was in charge of congratula-tory speech said, "Thanks to you, we are rejoicing in the liberation now." Furthermore Park responded with, "We will try our best not to make your blood and sweat in vain."
The second half of the event was followed by a video clip titled 'Dreaming for a World of Peace' and also a performance of the youth cheer group. Then youth music band and children choir sang 'Holo Arirang' and 'The Day We Meet Again' with a heart of appreciation.
The Press among the attendants said, "There were many veterans who didn't appear in each branch of Veteran Associations in each Myeon(region unit), so an event like this should be held more often than now."
A member of a veteran association shed tears saying "I truly appreciate the food and the beautiful performance that you have prepared with a patriotic spirit."
On the other hand, Goomi Shincheonji church group is inducing the organization of MOU relation to join in wall painting and 'Hooray 100' volunteer activity which is for serving seniors.
This organization is known as a public corporation in which has around 70 domestic and overseas branches, and 200 thousand members who are working based on the spirit of love, light and peace.
