The Seo-incheon branch of the Matthew tribe of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group (led by branch leader, Shin Jong-tae) signed an MoU with the Incheon branch of the Korean Federation for Environmental Movements (led by President Han Young-il) to improve the local environment.

The two organizations plan to continue their partnership and held an agreement ceremony for future regional environmental conservation projects at the Center for Talent Donations in Yeonhui-dong, Incheon, on January 25.

The two organizations participating in this agreement ceremony plan to continue their regional environmental conservation projects, including the promotion of environmental pollution awareness among local residents and of regional environmental conservation projects, in recognition that the task of the whole human race is to jointly cope with the destruction of the ecosystem by improving local environmental problems through this MoU.

Major projects include ▲ the Local Environment Improvement Project, ▲ the development of the residents' perception of environmental pollution, ▲ environmental conservation and service activities, and ▲ the Youth Scholarship Project.

With much optimism, Han Young-il, the president of the Incheon branch of the Korean Federation for Environmental Movements, said, "We thank you for volunteering the past three years and actively devoting more participation than other organizations… We hope to participate in many local services in the future."

Shin Jong-tae, the branch leader, responded, "Local volunteering opportunities will continue to be provided [but] the role that our volunteers should maintain as priority is conserving the environment for the future.”

Currently, the Seo-incheon branch of the Matthew tribe of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group operates various programs for local community development, such as Door2Door Healthcare, Beautiful Senior, Bravo Life!, and The Pink Cloth.
