Fulfilling ‘The 6th Love for All Nations and Sharing of Peace’ agreement with Lotus Volunteer Group
Shincheonji Volunteer Group’s Cheongju Branch (manager Jaejun Byeon) shared their warm hearts by delivering lunch boxes and lotus tea with hopes for peace to 10 different families who live alone or are low-income on 13th this month.
Shincheonji Volunteer Group Cheongju Branch (the branch manager Jaejun Byeon) shared their warm hearts by delivering lunch boxes and Lotus tea with the hope of peace to ten different single-resident or low-income families on the 13th September.
The purpose of the event was to fulfill ‘The 6th Love for All Nations and Sharing of Peace’ agreement that had been signed as an MOU with Lotus Volunteer Group, who participated in the event, for peace.
Jeajun Byeon, branch manager of Shincheonji Volunteer Group, said, “We appreciate that they are thankful for the small work we have done for them. We will strive to become a volunteer group that works together with the local community by arranging events with various organisations.”
Soonim Lee, who received her lunch boxes, expressed her appreciation, saying, “Thanks for coming on this hot day. I will savor this food with gratitude.”
Meanwhile, ‘The Pink Cloth Delivering Warmth’ is one of Shincheonji Volunteer Group’s core initiatives, which prepares and delivers healthy lunch boxes to the underprivileged, including lone elderly residents, every second Tuesday of the month.
