Shincheonji Church of Jesus - 1012 - The Realities and the Source of Truth and Untruth Spoken through Religion
The Realities and the Source of Truth
and Untruth Spoken through Religion
Truth is the true word (revelation), which is the orthodoxy of God. Untruth is what is false and lies spoken by the devil. Before discussing what truth and untruth are, we have to know the fundamental reason why these two things exist.
In the beginning was God, the creator of heaven and earth. Then there was the devil, the created being who betrayed and tried to appear as God. This was the beginning of truth and untruth. A spirit, whether it is God or the devil, uses a person to testify about himself. A person is like a house and a field, and depending on the kind of spirit or the kind of seed that has entered into a person, that person will act according to the entity that has entered. If two people who are of two kinds of spirit and seed meet to have a dialogue, it is only when a person acknowledges his opponent’s claims as correct and his claims as wrong will he accept his opponent’s words. This is how truth wins over untruth.
Due to the devil’s deception that led all people and all creation to be under his rule, the man that had inherited all creation from God became a person of the devil. This is why God had left mankind. God, who left, tried to make known the truth of what had happened. However, since the devil has been ruling over all creation, he had planted in the hearts of man that he was God. Therefore, like Adam, people have believed in the devil’s ideas up until now, and men have forgotten and do not even consider the true God who created them. The fact is men did not even listen when God’s word was delivered to them.
The devil has taken possession of men and all creation and prevents them from hearing the word of God. In order for God to make the truth known, He gave the true word, whereas the devil lies in order to keep the things that are not his and to make people believe that he is God the creator.
The true God is the creator who prophesies and fulfills; the devil is a created being and does not have the power to create nor can he prophesy and fulfill. This is how to expose who is the true God and who is the false god.
People are foolish and ignorant and are not able to know the things of the past and the secrets of heaven. God could not let the enemy know the secrets from of old until the appointed time. Furthermore, God spoke in advance of a promised pastor so that we could come to know about God and the promised pastor.
The reason why God spoke so many things figuratively in the Bible is due to the enemy, the devil, who betrayed as well as the war between truth and untruth. If the devil who betrayed didn’t exist, there would be no need for the words of the Bible. The Bible is about judgment between God and the devil, truth and untruth, and what is real and what is false.
Therefore, the decisive factor in the war between God and the devil is the Bible's prophecy, that is, people are able to overcome through the blood of Jesus and the words of testimony.
Because God has been working through Christianity, the devil has also been working through Christianity. Through the words of prophecy and fulfillment and the actions of the actual entities who appeared according to the prophecies, we are able to know who are on God's side and who are on the devil's side.
In the Bible’s New Testament book of Revelation, the betrayers, destroyers, and the savior are promised to appear (2 Thes 2). Who are these three entities? Speak if any of you know who they are. A true pastor would know. False pastors of false religions and cults would not be able to know who these entities are. The events of Revelation are a record of the events of these three entities. Theologians and pastors have said, “It is this,” and, “It is that,” but those words were lies. They lie because they are false pastors, pastors of the devil.
In Revelation, Jesus the savior, who promised Revelation, and his messenger, who is the promised pastor appear. Jesus fulfilled what was promised in Revelation, and the pastor promised by Jesus (Rv 22:16) saw the actual entities of Revelation that Jesus fulfilled and is testifying. The first events to appear are the betrayers and destroyers; after this, Jesus and the promised pastor appear to do the work of salvation by the word of their testimony.
The promised pastor appeared as Jesus prophesied, and he testifies to the fulfillment he has seen. Therefore, the promised pastor has seen all the events of the fulfillment of Revelation. That is, he saw all the events of betrayal, destruction, and salvation. This means he is the one who knows all the actual entities. This is the true pastor, the true witness, and the promised pastor. Therefore, the pastor of Shincheonji knows well the actual entities of the prophecies, that is, what has been fulfilled. If anyone wants to know, he must be honest about his ignorance and he must come and learn.
Jesus fulfilled everything that was promised in the New Testament without adding or subtracting from the Scriptures (according to the Bible). In the same manner, the promised pastor testifies to the churches what he has seen and heard. Verify whether his testimony regarding the fulfillment is according to the prophecies of the Bible or not. If it is true, one must believe. Even if the Lord has fulfilled, if one does not see and believe, one’s faith is futile. This is fulfillment and faith that are promised in the Bible.
